My Moccasin Obsession

Jun 18, 2013 | All, Fun | 9 Comments

Okay guys, I have a confession. I am absolutely obsessed and quite possibly in love with these little moccasins. When Riley’s feet grew big enough to fit into a shoe I came across these gorgeous little moccs and that was that.

Riley sometimes wears converse or a dress sandal, but she almost always finds a way to throw them off and simply can’t stand them. The moccasins on the other hand… stay on her feet! She is walking now, and it is my go to shoe for her because she can walk in them and still feel comfortable. We put them on her to go everywhere! They are extremely versatile and pack amazingly.

So who makes these gorgeous little gems???

  1. While the shoes are cute. I think $60 is a little expensive for baby shoes. Babies grow so fast I just couldn’t see myself dropping that much money on some shoes. They are cute though & they look great on Riley.

  2. Hi Kita!
Riley was able to wear size 3 moccasins from 3months-9months. During that time she grew from a regular shoe size 2 to a 4. It saved me from having to purchase different shoe sizes for her. So for us it worked out better than purchasing a regular walking shoe. šŸ™‚ Thank you for your kind words!

    1. Oh cool. That makes them seem more practical. I may breakdown and get two pair for my niece lol. Thank you for replying. šŸ™‚

  3. Hi Ayesha!

You sort of answered my question in the above comments- do they stretch a few sizes then? My Claire has teeny feet but I would love for these to fit her for awhile- she is wearing a 2 now in little sandals so I was thinking about going with a 3 to fit her well into fall. I really want the Platinum ones so I am hoping they restock soon! Is the bottom picture all of the colors you have them in??? šŸ™‚ Have you found that the leather ones hold up better than the suede ones? I am definitely in need of some shoes that stay on Claire’s feet- she got ahold of one of her pediped sandals at the zoo today and through it off during the train ride! Hope you are having a great summer with adorable Riley! šŸ™‚

    1. Yes! A 3 would work perfectly it think.Freshly picked was so generous to send me those colors.i’ve purchased about 3 pairs myself and will definitely buy more once she outgrows the ones she has.I prefer the leather over the suede simply because they don’t get dirty. The suede looking ones have the tendency to stain a little easier, the leather just wipes off. They are all awesome though and they really do grow with them. The platinum is gorgeous btw, it goes with just about all of their cute little baby outfits. I hope this helps! šŸ™‚
