Welcome to the first of many Fitness Fridays!!! I hope you guys enjoy this first official post! Below is a video of my quick and easy recipe for a daytime snack or dessert replacement! This is so simple and delicious, I couldn’t get enough of it this week.
I stepped way outside of my comfort zone this week and attended a ZUMBA class with some friends. If you know me, then you know very well that I can’t dance and have very little coordination (although my husband begs to differ, God bless him). Anyway, I went with much hesitation. It was an hour long class and even though I couldn’t get all of the moves down as quickly as my friends, it was a fantastic workout and I did have a blast with them. I would even consider going again. Other than that I took a stroll or two with Riley around the neighborhood and thats about it.
Eating wise, other than this healthy meal replacement, my eating choices were miserable. It seems my problem is more so skipping meals when I know I shouldn’t be and I almost always eat an enormous dinner because I cook it almost every night. So backwards, I know. It’s all about baby steps though and any progress is good progress in my book.
So, for this coming week my goal is to exercise portion control, because I am not a fan of dieting. I’m also going to make it a point to exercise in some form at least twice this week. The goal is to get all the way to 4 times a week, by the end of the month.
