My Top 5 Household Must Haves

Aug 27, 2015 | Family, Food, Fun | 1 Comment

Hi Guys!
I hope you’re all doing wonderful. Seeing that I’ve been at home recently with the new baby and Riley, I figured I’d do something fun and share my top 5 go to items that I’ve been using in and around the house. It’s been a bit hectic around here lately as we’re still adjusting. This list is quite random to me but totally relevant to how life is at home right now.

1. Honest Fruit and Veggie Wash

It’s stone fruit season here in the Bay and we’ve been eating a ton of peaches, nectarines and plums lately. I’ve also been juicing quite a bit to try and get some of the “baby weight” off. The Honest fruit and veggie wash helps me to ensure that my produce is clean and free from any pesky bugs or potential chemicals that may be lingering. I just spray, let it sit for a couple minutes, and then rinse. It’s truly fool-proof. I love it!

2. House Kombucha “Lavendar Lemonade”

I LOVE this stuff. Perfectly fizzy lemonade, with the added bonus of live cultures and probiotics, gives me the energy I need throughout the day to get work done and take care of the kids without having to drink too much coffee! My friend Caroline introduced me to this stuff and I’ve been hooked ever since. They’re also based here in the Bay!

3. Honest Dish Soap

With all of the recipe testing I do, the Honest dish soap helps me to tackle my dirty dishes and messy pots. Its gentle enough so that if Riley wants to lend a helping hand, I don’t have to worry about the suds being too harsh on her little hands. The smell is incredible too! This soap works wonders for blowing bubbles!

4. Think Thin Protein Bar

These bars are the perfect snack for me to have when I’m in the house or on the go. As a nursing mama it’s important to keep my energy up and food in my system. These bars help me do that.

5. TWIST Milk Pouches

These pouches and this system are amazing! I absolutely love that I can pump directly into these bags and either freeze or refrigerate the milk. The best part is that they come with a bottle top/nipple that I can pop right in the bag and feed to baby Ryan. They are so convenient and cause for less mess and clean up. Win/win.

So that’s it for now! It was extremely hard to narrow down my choices, but these are the items that made the cut! What are your 5 must haves right now?

Until next time,

Ayesha
